SYNOPSIS
THE LAST TEARDROP is the incredible journey of Bobby Wilson, a singer and entertainer who gained critical acclaim for his remarkable stage recreation of Jackie Wilson, the musical legend who passed away in 1984. Little did Bobby know that his tribute performances would lead him on a journey of self-discovery and family drama.
Through a shocking discovery, Bobby uncovers a family secret that sets into motion a series of complications and conflicts within his family. As he navigates through the emotional turmoil of his newfound family history, Bobby finds solace in the healing power of music.
In addition to Bobby’s personal journey, THE LAST TEARDROP sheds light on the foster care system in the United States, revealing the challenges faced by children needing homes and the system struggling to keep up after the impact of COVID.

The saying life imitates art is sandwiched in-between this fascinating story as it has become a treasure that many find fascinating. I knew making this film it would encourage others to look inside themselves. My hopes in making this film was to inspire others to face any uncertainties in
their lives and to have the courage to find the answers they desire to find peace and happiness…

Bobby Wilson, is the son of Legendary R&B/Soul Singer, Jackie Wilson. Bobby shares the same amazing traits and talents as his father; many say Jackie’s legacy lives on through him. His adoring fans have dubbed him “Mr. Entertainment” from his natural ability to entertain and bring crowds to life.
After a stint in the Navy, Bobby’s musical journey began in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was invited to join the world-famous Doo-Wop Group “The Love Notes” by Papa Mars, with his son, Little Bruno (now known as Pop Star Bruno Mars.) While Bobby was emerging as an entertainer, he came across many opportunities to recreate the persona of Jackie Wilson because of his uncanny resemblance, voice, and moves that were almost identical to Jackie’s. During this time, he learned that he was actually Jackie Wilson’s biological son! Since that time, Bobby has emerged as a Global Entertainer with his own shows including: “Jackie Wilson, The Legacy Continues,” “Bobby Wilson, The Motown Years,” Bobby has opened for his friend Bruno Mars, and now stars in Clubs, Casinos, theatre venues, and Cruise Ships around the world. Many watch with anticipation as Bobby Wilson’s success continues to soar through the “Grace of God”, he says as the singer, the entertainer, and the artist! Bobby who performs the music of Motown, Pop, Soul, and Country gets the audience to their feet seamlessly and sings the soundtrack of our lives as he performs songs from a collection of classic and memorable hits. International Expert in Foster Care and Parenting. Dr. John DeGarmo is an international parenting and foster care expert, and a TEDx speaker. He and his wife have been foster parents to over 60 children, who have come through their home.
Majorie B. Pierre

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Majorie B. Pierre is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University School of Journalism and Graphic Communications, a two-time Florida Associated Press Broadcasters award winning videographer, and the founder of MAJOR PR, LLC, an integrated public relation company.
As a former journalist, Pierre worked for the #1 CBS affiliate in Tallahassee, Florida, and played an intricate role in bringing more than a dozen Florida AP Broadcasters award wins and nominations as a producer and photojournalist. Years later, Pierre began her career in Public Relations with The Salvation Army in Orlando as the Public Relations and Marketing Manager. She quickly grew as a thought leader within the organization which helped integrate their operations into the new ‘digital-first’ era.
In 2021, Pierre established her company, MAJOR PR, LLC, under the merits of authentic storytelling as a means for organic brand awareness. Working primarily with small businesses and nonprofits organizations, MAJOR PR, LLC, takes a strategic approach that focuses on connecting real people to real causes.
Pierre became involved with The Last Teardrop: The Bobby Wilson Story to help elevate the remarkable story that teaches a powerful lesson on perseverance. The film centers around a message that inspires people of all ages. A message Pierre hopes to share nationwide.
